Job Summary:
MIMCO is seeking a highly organized and analytically minded professional to support the strategic disposition, and asset management of retail shopping centers. This role will be central to ensuring properties are strategically positioned, properly documented, and marketed for sale at optimal timing and value. The position will also gain exposure to new investments and provide support to the acquisitions team.
The Real Estate Analyst will collaborate extensively with internal teams, including Finance, Accounting, Property Management, Leasing, Construction & Maintenance, Acquisitions & Dispositions—and external partners such as investment sales brokers. This individual will be responsible for synthesizing property-level operational, financial, and market data to support investment decisions and provide transactional support.

Disposition Strategy & Execution
- Support development and execution of asset disposition strategies.
- Analyze operational and financial data to maximize pre-sale value.
- Collaborate on hold/sell decisions and positioning recommendations.
- Assist in executing disposition plans with internal teams.
- Contribute to asset valuations and financial modeling.
- Track performance, including budget vs. actuals and forecasts.
- Support scenario analysis on timing, capital, and exit strategies.
- Prepare and coordinate quarterly disposition review meetings.
- Compile cross-functional inputs and present insights into leadership.
- Help create marketing materials and NOI forecasts.
- Organize due diligence data and ensure accuracy of financials.
- Coordinate with brokers and internal teams to align materials.
- Analyze financials, leases, and operating data.
- Assist with due diligence, reporting, and investment presentations.
- Coordinate data across teams and external partners.
- Identify issues impacting asset marketability and recommend actions.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and support additional tasks as needed.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate, asset management, investment sales, underwriting, or related roles.
- Exposure to retail shopping centers and familiarity with retail leases strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting property-level financial analysis or disposition processes preferred.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize financial, operational, and market data into actionable recommendations.
- Working understanding of financial models, valuation concepts, and NOI forecasting.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple internal departments.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with Yardi preferred.
