Electrical Engineering Degree.
Qualifications & Knowledge
- 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Understanding of embedded systems, PCBA manufacturing and power electronics.
- Offsets and design of analog and digital systems including signal integrity and noise analysis.
- Working knowledge of C programming-oriented implementation on microcontrollers.
- Experience with schematic capture tools, PCB design and circuit simulation.
- Proficient English.

General Objective
You will collaborate with the global Engineering and Operations teams to apply a platform usage approach to all new designs, while gathering and implementing design considerations for use across multiple product categories.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work independently, design, logo, test and troubleshoot embedded electronics, including hardware and firmware, for projects of low to medium complexity.
- Use laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads and data acquisition systems.
- Conduct experiments, perform simulations, and draw concise and logical conclusions through data analysis.
- Create test plans for electronic components and assemblies within the scope of project of platform development.
- Identify trade-offs and solutions to problems and strive to resolve them quickly in a high urgency environment.
- Track projects to ensure schedule adherence and communicate status updates to other teams and mid-level management.
- Be a role model for Milwaukee Tool´s culture and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Work with component suppliers and manufacturers for proper component selection on existing projects and provide information on future product needs.
- Schedule, develop agendas, facilitate and document technical meetings and formal presentations.
- Acquire knowledge and maintain an understanding of Milwaukee Tool's development and manufacturing processes to effectively and efficiently mass produce power tools.
- Design and qualify new solutions to applicable regulatory standards such as UL, CEC, CE and ANSI.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
