Electrical/Control Engineer

Electrical Engineer (2–5 Years Experience)

Location: Boise, Idaho

We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer with 2–5 years of professional experience to join our growing team. This role focuses on the design and implementation of electrical and control systems for municipal and industrial infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Design electrical power distribution, motor control, and instrumentation systems
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Perform short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies
• Support SCADA system design and integration
• Conduct field investigations and provide construction support
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
• 2–5 years of experience in electrical design (water/wastewater a plus)
• EIT required; PE or ability to obtain preferred
• Familiarity with NEC and electrical design standards
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit; SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
