Job Title: Mascot Assistant/ Backup Performer
Class: Part Time
Reports to: Entertainment Coordinator
Location: Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attend all Milwaukee Bucks home games (preseason, regular season, and postseason), as well as select community and partner events
- Assist the Entertainer Coordinator with booking, promoting, and executing internal and external appearances
- Perform as a backup mascot at events as assigned by the Entertainment Coordinator
- Assist with game-night setup and breakdown of mascot assets and equipment
- Provide creative, logistical, and performance-related assistance during games and appearances
- Maintain and clean mascot costume, wardrobe, locker room, and props
- Uphold the integrity of the Bango brand by following Bucks marketing, entertainment, and mascot performance guidelines
- Adhere to Mascot Program rules and internal brand standards while representing the Milwaukee Bucks and Bango in a professional and positive manner at all times
- Maintain designated office hours and assist with general office duties
- Assist with social media photos, videos, post and creative for Bango accounts
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous mascot experience and/or performing arts, theater, or entertainment background preferred
- Ability to perform “in character” and accept coaching, feedback, and critique
- Strong understanding of non-verbal acting and communication
- Creative, energetic, and confident performer with a positive, upbeat personality
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Availability to work all Milwaukee Bucks home games, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must provide highlight and/or performance video(s) for review
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
- Unlimited physical mobility and stamina to perform under extreme conditions (heat, extended activity, costume performance)
