Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Master the Machines: Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental and customer heavy equipment with precision and expertise.
- Be the Go-To Expert: Provide top-notch repair and maintenance services.
- Stay Organized: Complete work orders and service documentation accurately and on time.
- Customer Interaction: Work with customers and vendors as needed to diagnose and repair heavy equipment, ensuring satisfaction and reliability.
- Technical Expertise: Experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics, electric systems, and diesel engines.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Customer Service: Outstanding interpersonal skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a willingness to embrace new technology (cell phones, iPads, CRM, etc.).
- Eager to Learn: A hunger for knowledge and the ability to apply new skills.
- High School diploma, trade school certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience as a rental equipment technician or a similar role in the repair industry is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have your own tools.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Capability to sit and stand for long periods with frequent bending.
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
