Activities Aide to help us plan and lead engaging programs that keep our residents active, social, and inspired.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Fun: Facilitate group activities such as arts and crafts, bingo, fitness classes, music, and trivia.
One-on-One Connection: Spend quality time with residents who prefer individual visits, reading to them or simply sharing a conversation.
Plan & Promote: Assist the Activities Director in brainstorming new event ideas and decorating the facility for holidays and themed parties.
Documentation: Keep simple logs of resident participation to ensure everyone is staying socially engaged.
What We’re Looking For
The "Life of the Party": You are upbeat, patient, and able to motivate others to join in.
Creative Spark: You enjoy hobbies like music, crafting, gardening, or games and love sharing those skills.
Empathy: You have a genuine heart for the elderly and understand how to adapt activities for different physical or cognitive abilities.
Skills: Basic computer skills for scheduling and the ability to stand/move for long periods.
