You will serve as a facilitator of the Senior Career Internship Program and a key contributor to the district’s Innovation Pathways initiative. Your primary goal is to foster a rigorous, equitable, and inclusive environment that prepares students for post-secondary success, career readiness, and active civic participation.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:
●Instructional Excellence: Design and implement curricula that align with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, integrating high-impact teaching practices that emphasize critical thinking, project-based learning (PBL), and real-world business applications (e.g., Personal Finance, Principles of Business).
●Data-Informed Pedagogy: Utilize student performance data and formative assessment to differentiate instruction, ensuring all students—including those with diverse learning needs—achieve mastery of course objectives.
●Career Readiness & Program Leadership: Oversee the Senior Career Internship Program by cultivating partnerships with local businesses, coordinating placement, and providing mentorship that bridges classroom learning with professional experience.
●Equitable Engagement: Promote an inclusive classroom culture that reflects the diversity of our student body. Actively collaborate with families, guidance counselors, and special education teams to support the social-emotional and academic growth of each student.
