MHS is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee month-end, quarterly and annual close processes as well as annual audit support, tax form preparation, and enterprise financial systems. This role plays a critical role part in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strong decision support across the organization which is essential to the perpetuity of the school. Responsibilities include:
- Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance
- Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and fixed assets
- Manage Form 990, NAIS reporting, and audit deliverables
- Serve as SME for PeopleSoft (Financials & GL)
- Partner across HR/Finance on system integration and reporting
- Oversee cash management & banking activities
- Provide leadership across accounting and shared services
Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance, CPA required.
- 8 years of accounting experience with leadership scope.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP.
- ERP experience required (PeopleSoft preferred).
- Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment.
- Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for students.
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students.
Salary : $81,000 - $108,000
