We are looking for a detail-driven, organized, and hands-on Constuction Shop Logistics Coordinator to oversee our shipping department operations. This role focuses on managing shipping logistics from start to finish, with a secondary emphasis on ensuring quality standards before products leave our facility. Position Summary:As the Constuction Shop Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all outgoing shipments, managing warehouse organization, and ensuring orders are completed accurately, securely packaged, and delivered on time. You will also perform secondary quality control checks to verify that all products meet specifications before they leave our facility. Key Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate all daily shipping operations, including scheduling, packaging, and loading.Review shipping schedules and prioritize jobs for timely completion.Ensure all items are properly packaged and protected for transport using appropriate materials (paper, cardboard, corner guards, shrink wrap, etc.).Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area, optimizing space and workflow.Receive vendor deliveries, document PO numbers, take photographs, and communicate details to purchasing and shipping teams.Perform secondary quality control checks by inspecting products and components for accuracy, damage, and completeness before shipment.Collaborate with production and purchasing team to resolve discrepancies and locate missing items.Maintain accurate shipping and inspection records.Occasionally assist with driving duties for pick-ups, deliveries, or transfers between locations, ensuring safe handling of goods. Qualifications:Experience working on active construction sites with safe and proper use of construction tools.Proven experience in shipping logistics, warehouse coordination, or related fields.Knowledge of packaging standards and best practices for protecting goods during transport.Experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing/shipping environment preferred.Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical specifications (preferred).Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with company vehicles a plus.Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and handling materials as needed.Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
