Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The Logistic Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials. This role requires strong analytical skills, supply chain management expertise, and the ability to coordinate logistics operations effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to procure necessary materials and negotiate favorable terms
- Plan and execute demand planning strategies to meet customer requirements
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize freight movement and track shipments
- Oversee the distribution center operations, including dispatching and scheduling of deliveries
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics processes
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and logistics
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using Excel for reporting purposes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management
