Job Summary
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Rewinder helper! In this energetic role, you'll support the operation of rewind machines that process printed or coated materials, ensuring smooth production flow and high-quality output. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help keep our manufacturing line efficient, safe, and productive. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the creation of top-tier packaging and printing products. This is a weekend schedule ( 3-12 hour shifts ) work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours. 4 DAY WEEKENDS!!!!
Duties
- Assist in setting up and preparing rewind machines for daily production runs, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Support the operator in monitoring machine performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal quality.
- Help load raw materials onto the rewind machines using manual handling techniques, adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and materials to identify issues early and prevent downtime.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturing standards.
- Support quality control checks by inspecting finished rolls for defects, proper labeling, and correct dimensions.
- Collaborate with team members in packaging finished products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of machinery operation, machining processes, or prepress workflows is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
