Receiving Associate Job description
Primary focus of receiving supplies and test samples, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and accurate inventory counts. Organizing inventory on racks, ensuring supplies are rotated according to expiration date. Using an inventory management system to keep accurate counts of supplies. Using a forklift to unload trucks and a pallet jack to move bulk supplies. Obtain necessary documents for incoming supplies to ensure receiving procedures are met. Filing all receiving paperwork in the appropriate location. Utilize the Oracle system to receive items in order to release the P.O. for accounts payable. Ensuring all safety protocols are followed when working in the warehouse. Perform other duties as assigned (Assisting with logging in samples and providing assistance with daily office activities when needed)
Responsibilities:
- Receive client samples and ensure timely delivery of all temperature sensitive samples
- Track all deliveries
- Verify all information on the submission form against the samples
- Handle all samples appropriately for each test requested
- Deliver to the correct storage condition location within the lab
- Identify discrepancies and follow correct procedure for documentation
- Know and follow company policies and procedures
Qualifications:

· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and within a team environment
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
· Experience utilizing Oracle a plus
