- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
- Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
- Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
- Interview and make new hires
- Distribute work between technicians
- Prioritize required services
- Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the service department staff to ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate service schedules and workflow to maximize productivity and meet customer expectations.
- Develop strategies to increase service department revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding service status and resolve any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance targets.
- Manage inventory and ordering of parts and supplies.
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of automotive service processes and technologies.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
