This position will have a strong focus in direct support of the production teams and general Quality Management System requirements and improvements. Responsibilities to include the following:

Your Role
Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Specialist will facilitate and support the development, maintenance, and improvement of quality systems, to ensure their alignment with business goals, customer expectations, and requirements for global business unit best practices. This position will have a strong focus in direct support of the production teams and general Quality Management System requirements and improvements. Responsibilities to include the following:
- Quality system development and maintenance activities
- Support daily production activities and programs
- Lead and facilitate complaint investigations, deviations and monthly meetings
- Lead, facilitate and support various quality system initiatives
- View computer monitors for long periods of time
- Regular use of phones, computers, computer monitors and office equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED AND 5 years of experience in a quality, production, or project management role
- Bachelor’s degree (Chemistry or other life science discipline) AND 2 years of experience in a quality, production, or project management role
- 3 years of experience with Quality Management Systems, ISO standards, 21CFR117, and conducting internal/external audits
- Experience in the chemical, life science, or food industries using SAP, TrackWise, and document control systems
- Experience preparing and reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
