About the role:
Responsible for providing developmentally appropriate instruction and individualized support to young children with or without disabilities in accordance with Tennessee state standards and federal IDEA regulations. This role includes designing and implementing specialized instruction that fosters cognitive, social-emotional, motor, and language development while promoting independence and inclusion. The teacher collaborates with families, related service providers, and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address each child's unique needs. Additionally, the Pre-K Special Education Teacher ensures a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment that encourages growth and prepares students for future educational success.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a valid Tennessee teaching license.
- Endorsement in the grade/subject taught
- Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position.

We value honesty and transparency in our hiring process. Our salary range for teaching positions is $50,055.20 to $75,398.68, determined by verified years of experience and recognition of a Master's degree.
