About the role:
Provide standards-aligned instruction in Spanish to support students' language acquisition and cultural competence. This role involves developing and implementing instructional strategies aligned with the Tennessee Department of Education world language standards to enhance students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish. The Spanish teacher creates an engaging, student-centered classroom environment, collaborates with colleagues to support student achievement, and integrates cultural perspectives to deepen global awareness. Additionally, the teacher monitors student progress, uses data to inform instruction, and supports district and state expectations for academic achievement.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a valid Tennessee teaching license.
- Endorsement in the grade/subject taught
- Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position.

We value honesty and transparency in our hiring process. Our salary range for teaching positions is $50,055.20 to $75,398.68, determined by verified years of experience and recognition of a Master's degree.
