About the role:

Provide rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in Chemistry to support students' mastery of scientific concepts and practices. This role involves developing and implementing instructional strategies aligned with Tennessee Academic Standards for Science to promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and the application of chemical principles through inquiry-based learning and laboratory experiences. The Chemistry teacher creates a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment, collaborates with colleagues to support student achievement, and integrates real-world connections to deepen understanding. Additionally, the teacher monitors student progress, uses data to inform instruction, and ensures adherence to all safety protocols and district expectations for science instruction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a valid Tennessee teaching license.
• Endorsement in the grade/subject taught
• Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement.
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position.

We value honesty and transparency in our hiring process. Our salary range for teaching positions is $50,055.20 to $75,398.68, determined by verified years of experience and recognition of a Master's degree.

Salary : $50,055 - $75,399
