About the role:
As an Assistant Principal for Millington Municipal Schools, you will support the principal in all aspects of instructional leadership, including educational programming, administration, student discipline, and counseling services. This role involves fostering a positive school culture, promoting academic excellence, and ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. The Assistant Principal collaborates with teachers, staff, and parents to implement effective instructional strategies, support professional development, and address student needs. Additionally, this position requires overseeing school operations, managing student behavior, analyzing data to drive decision-making, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal policies. The Assistant Principal plays a critical role in cultivating leadership among staff, enhancing student engagement, and contributing to the overall success of the school community.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Master's in Educational Leadership
- Holds a valid School Administrator License
- At least five years of teaching experience
- Governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position
