Our Northside Indianapolis client is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to serve as a key point of contact for external partners and internal teams. This role is responsible for handling inbound inquiries, providing product and process support, and ensuring a seamless experience for customers, agents, and business partners.
This position plays a critical role in supporting sales operations, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate communication across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Support & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and inquiries
- Route requests to the appropriate internal teams to ensure timely resolution
- Respond to routine questions and escalate more complex issues as needed
- Clearly communicate product and service information in a professional manner
Research & Problem Resolution
- Investigate and resolve inquiries by collaborating with internal teams
- Track and manage requests to ensure completion within expected timelines
- Provide accurate and thorough follow-up on outstanding items
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders
- Deliver a high level of service that supports long-term business relationships
- Support onboarding and engagement efforts for new partners or clients
Marketing & Administrative Support
- Coordinate and distribute marketing and sales materials
- Assist with preparation of quotes, proposals, and supporting documentation
- Support marketing initiatives including campaigns, mailings, and communications
Event & Project Support
- Assist with planning and execution of events, meetings, or seminars
- Support logistics and coordination for partner-facing initiatives
- Provide administrative support for special projects and team initiatives
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles
- Strong communication skills with a professional and confident presence
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex situations
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems preferred
Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
