Responsibilities And Expectations
Materials Used: Machine parts, and lubricants.
Supervision Exercised: Receives instructions from Maintenance Manager. Some job duties may not be indicated in roles and responsibilities.
Minimum Job Requirements: Must be able to read and write. Must have basic math and computer skills. Must be cleared by Occupational Nurse for vision and color vision.
Competency testing may be required.
Follow all Safety Rules and All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be used as required. Any accident or near miss must be reported immediately.

Responsibilities And Expectations
- Follow all plant safety rules and expectations
- Also wear proper PPE for the task.
- Excessive lapping positions will be cleared by the technician once the frame has been stopped and locked out. Lap removal will take place when the frame has 5 flags for laps between creels.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all stop motions
- Perform scheduled Maintenance on E-Stops and all other safety devices on machine
- Must properly follow LOTO procedures
- Perform proper removal of all chokes and waste off shafts and spindles during schedules maintenance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on friction bushings on traverse rod. Rotate or replace according to the damage.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on package drive friction disc.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on drive roll bearings and replace as needed. Lubrication must be properly done during each scheduled maintenance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on pre-take up roll bearings and replace as needed.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on belt guide pulleys. Lubrication must be properly done during each scheduled maintenance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on brake pedals. Adjust or rebuild as needed.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on gear box. Change oil a minimum on once a year.
- During scheduled maintenance check for slow spindles.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on spindles and bolsters
- Inspect all belts for condition. Replace as needed.
- Inspect all gears for wear and sharpness. Replace as needed.
- Clean all the pots, the gear box cover and all other covers during scheduled maintenance.
- Check for any electrical issues.
- Any other duties requested by your direct manager or department manager
