Millhill is seeking a Clinical Director to provide visionary leadership and operational oversight within our Outpatient Behavioral Health program. This role is mission-critical and sits at the senior leadership table, reporting directly to the CEO.

The Opportunity
The Clinical Director will:

✔ Provide oversight of program performance, systems, and staff development
This role directly impacts the delivery of care, safety, regulatory compliance, and organizational sustainability — your leadership matters every day.
Duties
- Participate as a member of the executive leadership team to formulate and implement policies and plans to meet the agency’s short- and long-term strategic goals
- Collaborate and coordinate with executive leadership team members in regard to program development, grant writing, goal planning, budget development analysis, program evaluation, staff development, and program policies and practices
- Identify potential opportunities and risks within the agency and its environment
- Responsible for providing in a timely and accurate manner all information necessary for the agency to function properly and make informed decisions
- Provide direct oversight to ensure program quality
- Support overall strategic goals of the agency and identify sustainable and efficient growth opportunities in alignment with its mission and culture
- Develop policies, plans and implementation to ensure successful outcomes of the agency
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and funder contract requirements for delivery of all programs
- Facilitate quarterly Quality Assurance Oversight Committee meetings
- Maintain agency mental health license
- Build strong associations with stakeholders
- Promote the agency values including teamwork, professional excellence, diversity and inclusion, ethics and trust, adaptability, and dignity and respect
What You Bring
We are seeking a leader who is:
- Licensed in New Jersey as an LPC or LCSW
- Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS or Supervision course certificate)
- 10 years experience in a similar behavioral health leadership role
- Expertise in clinical documentation, regulations, and outpatient operations
- Knowledge of TF-CBT/CBT interventions
- Demonstrated success in: strategic planning, scaling programs, building collaborative teams, quality improvement, Medicaid billing
- Outstanding communication and public speaking abilities
- An entrepreneurial mindset with strong judgment and integrity
Education
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited university
