Technical Operations Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced technical operations professional to improve the reliability and efficiency of software delivery and production environments. This role will work across engineering and operations to strengthen deployment practices, automate recurring processes, and support the ongoing performance of technology platforms.
Responsibilities
Improve processes supporting software releases, deployments, and production operations
Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and improve technical efficiency
Establish and maintain operational procedures and documentation
Support the rollout of new applications and enhancements into production environments
Monitor system performance and help resolve complex operational issues
Serve as a senior escalation point for significant service or deployment problems
Partner with technical teams to improve reliability, consistency, and operational readiness
Evaluate tools and technologies that can improve development and infrastructure workflows
Help establish scalable approaches to managing hosted and distributed technology environments
Communicate operational risks, priorities, and resource needs to leadership
Qualifications
Strong experience supporting software delivery and technical operations
Experience with source control, deployment, automation, and environment-management tools
Hands-on experience working with containerized or distributed applications
Experience developing automated workflows for software delivery and operational processes
Familiarity with hosted infrastructure and modern application environments
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple systems
Experience with scripting or software development
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable taking ownership of operational issues while coordinating work across technical teams
