Technology Operations Engineer
Our client is seeking an experienced technology professional to help maintain reliable, scalable software environments and improve the way technology is delivered and supported. This role will work across engineering and technical operations to improve efficiency, reliability, and the overall stability of the technology environment.
Responsibilities
Improve processes for deploying, maintaining, and supporting software environments
Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
Help establish repeatable procedures for managing technology environments
Monitor systems and investigate issues affecting application performance or availability
Coordinate resolution of complex technical problems across multiple teams
Evaluate and implement tools that improve operational workflows
Support the introduction of new applications and technology capabilities
Develop documentation and practical guidance for recurring technical activities
Identify operational risks and recommend improvements before they affect delivery
Work with engineering teams to improve the reliability and maintainability of applications
Assist with planning and implementation of changes across development and production environments
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Professional experience in technology operations, systems engineering, or software engineering
Experience supporting complex application environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with automation and scripting
Experience working with modern software development and infrastructure tools
Ability to understand interactions between applications, systems, and supporting technologies
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable taking ownership of issues from investigation through resolution
