Our client, a multi-site manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Director of Procurement to lead sourcing, purchasing, and supplier strategy across multiple facilities. Role Overview
This position provides enterprise-level leadership over procurement activities, ensuring alignment between sourcing strategies and broader business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies focused on cost control, quality, and supply reliability
- Oversee sourcing of raw materials, components, packaging, and capital-related purchases
- Lead purchasing operations across multiple production sites
- Build and manage supplier relationships while negotiating contracts and optimizing cost structures
- Implement standardized procurement processes and governance across locations
- Collaborate with operations, finance, and technical teams to align sourcing with business needs
- Drive supplier performance management and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead and develop a distributed procurement team
- Utilize data and analytics to monitor spend, identify opportunities, and improve decision-making
- Support compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards

Qualifications
- 12 years of progressive experience in procurement or sourcing leadership
- Proven experience managing procurement across multiple locations
- Strong background in contract negotiation, supplier management, and category strategy
- Experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Strong financial and analytical skills with a focus on measurable results
- Proficiency with ERP and procurement systems
