Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Automation/Machine Vision
Overview
This role owns revenue growth across a defined region, focused on expanding market share, building strategic relationships, and driving new business within industrial automation. You will operate as the point person for the region, balancing account management with aggressive new business development.
What You’ll Do
- Own regional sales performance and deliver against revenue targets
- Develop and execute territory strategy aligned with broader company goals
- Identify, pursue, and close new business through direct and channel partners
- Manage and grow existing key accounts while expanding wallet share
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, integrators, and end users
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Deliver accurate forecasts and maintain pipeline visibility through CRM
- Lead high-level negotiations and close complex deals
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategy to stay on target
What You Bring
- 5 years of industrial automation sales experience
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to sell engineered solutions
- Experience with machine vision or related technologies preferred
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to manage both strategic accounts and new business development
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High level of ownership and accountability
Work Requirements
- Approximately 50% travel within the region
- Occasional international travel may be required
- Valid passport preferred
- Spanish language capability is a plus
