Our client is looking for a talented Automation Controls Engineer to design, program, and integrate advanced automation systems and custom machinery. This role involves developing controls solutions, building complex automation systems, and integrating components such as servo drives, robotics, and vision systems. You’ll collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality results, participate in design reviews, and oversee system installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical and controls systems.
- Program and integrate automation components, including robotics and servo systems.
- Build and debug complex automation systems, focusing on electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Oversee system installation and commissioning at client sites (~5% travel).
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including BOMs, user manuals, and schematics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, related engineering field, or equivalent work exp .
- 3-5 years of experience in automation or machine controls.
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and SolidWorks.
- Strong skills in debugging and optimizing automation systems.
