Project Manager – Construction (Specialty Subcontractor)

About the Role:
Miller Paneling Specialties is a growing specialty construction subcontractor seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) with strong construction and field management experience. This role is responsible for overseeing regional operations, coordinating field teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can manage people, schedules, materials, documentation, and financial performance while driving continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
As a Project Manager, you will own project execution from planning through close‑out, including:
- Manage and coordinate regional staff and field installation teams (foremen, carpenters, helpers)
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily project operations
- Track and manage site‑level KPIs (schedule, cost, quality, documentation)
- Review and adjust submittals to meet client standards and project specifications
- Collect daily production data and update project schedules
- Order materials and coordinate deliveries
- Coordinate tools, rental equipment, and jobsite logistics
- Review material takeoffs for change orders and vendor pricing
- Maintain organized electronic job files and documentation
- Work with accounting to prepare job billings after PM approval
- Maintain and update Schedules of Values (SOVs)
- Coordinate punch lists, quality checks, and project close‑out activities
- Investigate technical, quality, and processing issues and recommend solutions
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments as needed
- Ensure standard processes and procedures are followed
- Provide product installation time specs to estimating and customers
