Role Description The Shop Cleanup role is a full-time, on-site position based in Arlington, TN. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and cleaning around machines and workstations. Daily tasks include emptying trash and recycling containers, wiping down surfaces, restocking cleaning supplies, and ensuring walkways and work areas remain clear. The role may also involve basic support tasks such as organizing tools and materials, assisting with routine facility checks, and reporting any safety hazards or maintenance needs. The individual in this position works closely with production and maintenance teams to support smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in industrial or manufacturing environments, including consistent attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow all safety policies, procedures, and protective equipment requirements.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry materials throughout the workday in a shop setting.
- Reliable time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn and adapt to established shop processes.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and coworkers and to report issues promptly.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or facility maintenance environments is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
