Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional. Knowledge of payroll tax reporting requirements. Proficiency with QuickBooks or Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. Strong communication skills for working with clients and supporting tax preparation staff.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; handle payroll taxes, deductions, and related reporting of 941, 940 and W-2's
- Perform account reconciliation tasks including general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation to uphold data integrity.
- Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping and payroll matters
Experience
- QuickBooks or Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor
- Demonstrated ability to process payroll accurately using payroll processing systems; familiarity with payroll tax regulations is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under deadlines.
This is a full-time position. Competitive pay based on experience wages range from $45,000.00 to 65,000.00. Benefits include retirement plan, paid holidays and paid vacation and half day Fridays in the summer.
