Your accuracy and timeliness directly supports financial operations and key subcontractor relationships.Best-in-class software with Sage Intacct, Procore, Google Sheets, and AI tools to make work faster and more accurate.A high-performance, supportive culture that values low-ego, collaboration, and continuous growth.Direct access to leadership and clear pathways for career growth.Hybrid flexibility after initial on-site training.What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)Process AP invoices, subcontractor billing, and project-related transactions with accuracy.Verify pricing, quantities, coding, and approvals (POs, contracts, job cost codes).Prepare weekly payment batches (checks, ACH) and coordinate subcontractor pay cycleMaintain vendor records, W-9s, certificates of insurance, and compliance documentation.Support AR, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, and month-end prep.Assist with job costing, tracking committed costs, and resolving discrepancies.Use and be trained to leverage industry-leading construction software such as Sage Intacct, Procore, and Miter.Utilize AI wherever possible to increase processing capacity and accuracyCollaborate closely with the Controller and project teams to strengthen financial accuracy and workflow.Who Thrives in This RoleMust-HavesSolid grasp of accounting principles (debits/credits, reconciliations, statements).Strong attention to detail and accuracy - this role supports 8-figure quarterly billings.Comfortable learning new software (ERP, project management tools, spreadsheets).Positive, coachable attitude and willingness to adopt new processes.Good communication skills and the ability to follow structured workflows.Self-starter with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Interest in AI and using modern tools to streamline work.We will train the right candidate if you bring curiosity and a desire to grow.Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)Experience in accounts payable, accounting support, bookkeeping, or related administrative finance work.Bachelor’s or Associate’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress).Familiarity with Google WorkspaceConstruction accounting or AP experience (job costing, subcontractor billing, WIP familiarity).Experience with Sage Intacct, Procore, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.Construction background is a plus - but we’ll train the right candidate.Benefits100% company-paid base health planDental, vision, life insurancePaid time off paid community service hours401(k) with company matchTuition reimbursementWellness & fitness benefitsLocation & ScheduleMarshall, Virginia (On-Site)Hybrid option available after successful completion of initial on-site trainingFull-time | Non-ExemptReports To: ControllerReady to grow your career with a company that’s building the next 100 years?
