Job description:Duties:- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors- Support residents in participating in recreational activities and community outings- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents- Respect and uphold the rights of residents, ensuring their privacy and dignity- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of resident informationExperience:- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred- Knowledge of resident rights and ability to advocate for individuals' needs- Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed- Familiarity with first aid and basic medical procedures- Experience in behavior management techniques is a plus- Valid driver's license and ability to drive residents to appointments or activitiesNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
