Prepares kits for shop personnel by pulling appropriate parts, ensures inventory is accurate and traceable. Other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares kits for shop personnel by pulling appropriate parts from inventory in accordance with work orders and/or purchase orders.
2. Maintains accuracy and traceability of inventory.
3. Pick and deliver products and parts as needed.
4. Issue and receive in material.
5. Wrap parts to be shipped and perform other shipping and receiving duties
6. Ability to drive a company truck, van, and forklift to deliver parts to and from vendors.
7. Maintains cleanliness of shop area.
8. Follows OSHA regulations and requirements.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and assigned duty satisfactorily. 1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
2. Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
3. Ability to apply basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
4. Ability to communicate verbally in one-on-one situations with management and co-workers; listen to others without interrupting and get clarification when needed.
5. Must have a clean driving record.
6. Ability to identify proper materials and supplies according to specifications.
7. Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and supervisor.
8. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
9. Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.
10. Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted
11. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.
