What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stockroom Associate position at Martin Interconnect Services?
Job Summary:
Stockroom is responsible for ensuring all departments have the required parts and materials to complete jobs. This includes refilling the part’s carts on the floor and pulling kits for jobs. Additionally, the stockroom is responsible for receiving all materials.
Job Core Tasks:
· Must be able to stand throughout the entirety of the shift as the position is a standing position.
· Computer skills.
· Follow checklists.
· Fill parts bins.
· Pull kits.
· Receiving and conducting inventory audits.
· Must always wear safety glasses while on the production floor.
· Follow company policies and regulations as listed on MIS Policy Acknowledgment Form.
Skills:
· Ability to perform basic computer functions such as reading and entering data, navigating MIS software, training provided, and troubleshooting.
· Time management.
· Critical Thinking.
· Communication skills, being able to alert manager or lead when an error occurs.
· Ability to lift 25 pounds and move up to 50 pounds with barrel dolly.
Education/Experience
- Prior assembly / manufacturing experience helpful
