- Develop and review structural designs using advanced CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D to create detailed drawings and models.
- Perform complex structural analysis utilizing tools like Mathcad and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate load capacities, stability, and safety of structures.
- Manage project schedules to ensure timely delivery of design milestones while coordinating with project management teams to align scope, budget, and deadlines.
- Conduct site visits during construction phases to monitor progress, verify adherence to design specifications, and troubleshoot technical issues on-site.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation to support design decisions, project proposals, and construction activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proven experience in project engineering within civil or structural engineering disciplines.
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Bluebeam for drafting and documentation purposes.
- Strong knowledge of system design principles, construction practices, and civil engineering standards.
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, specifications, and construction documents.
