What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Counselor position at Millcreek-West Unity Schools?
Job Objectives:
Guide and encourage students to better understand themselves and others. Help students use their talents to achieve successful learning experiences. Help students develop responsible behaviors and resolve problems that impede learning. Work with colleagues to ensure the provision of all services mandated by state and Federal law. Actively encourage parental involvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Meet all health requirements mandated by law.
• Valid State of Ohio professional pupil services School Counselor license.
• A clear record as determined by Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and/or Federal Bureau of Investigation.
