Responsibilities
- Safety & Maintenance Fundamentals: LO/TO, Arc Flash, PPE, Machine Safety Circuits, Electrical Safe Practices, Rigging & Lifting
- Mechanical systems: Read Mechanical Drawings, Bearing/Ball Screw/LM Guide Inspection & Replacement, Machine Leveling, Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Coolant Troubleshooting/Inspection/Replacement, CNC Axis Alignment/Backlash Inspection, Tool Changer Troubleshooting/Inspection, Spindle Bearing/Motor/Drawbar Troubleshooting, Pallet Changer Maintenance, Chip Conveyor Maintenance, Coolant Pumps Maintenance.
- Electrical Systems: Read Electrical Schematics, AC/DC Voltage Testing, 480V Troubleshooting, Power Supplies, Relays & Contactors, Servo Amplifiers & Motors, Encoder Troubleshooting/Replacement, Electrical PM’s
- CNC Controls: General Operation & Diagnostics, Alarm Interpretation & Troubleshooting, Machine Recovery, Parameter Backup/Restoration, SRAM Battery Replacement
- Automation/PLC/Robotics: PLC Fundamentals, Basic Ladder Reading & Troubleshooting, I/O Identification, HMI Navigation & Alarm Interpretation, Sensor Troubleshooting, Robot Safety/Recovery/Alarm Interpretation/Troubleshooting, End-of-Arm Tool Troubleshooting, Robot I/O
- Maintenance Operations: Preventative & Predictive Maintenance Systems, CMMS Interaction, Root Cause Analysis, OEM Manual Navigation, Spare Parts System/Identification, 5S, TPM Engagement Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be mechanically inclined with some experience with electrical systems, machine control panels, automation,
robotics, and a strong understanding of machine diagnostic
Open minded and willing to learn new machine types and preventative/predictive maintenance methods
Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Folder navigation, CMMS Software
Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor
Lifts between 10 and 80 pounds on occasional basis
Quality oriented and conscientious
Always adheres to Company policies
Requires decision making skills
Exhibits characteristics of good role-model
Reliable with excellent attendance record
Requires advanced training through in-house and/or external training methods
Required to wear company-furnished uniforms and required personal protective equipment

Work Environment and Growth Opportunities
- Schedule – Approximately 45 hours per week, core hours 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday. Occasional Saturdays.
