Warehouse-Drive Thru

Position Summary

Assist customers with their orders by loading customer vehicle with invoice or requisition building materials. Delivering high level of customer service, completing yard tasks and routes paperwork appropriately for the Drive Thru. 

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner upon entry into Drive Thru
• Use RF scanners to complete customer orders and verify counts to ensure orders are complete for loading.
• Manually or mechanically (power industrial truck) safely load/unload materials into customers vehicles and carts to move materials around warehouse, storage yard, or similar location to assist in packaging, loading, and restocking a wide variety of products and materials. 
• Maintains Drive Thru organized and clean during the course of work
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors to report to supervisor
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.

• Clean, maintain and operate tools, equipment, supplies and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience with warehouse environment
• Driving Power Industrial trucks (forklift/pallet jack) and hand held scanners

Other Requirements

• Must Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
• Work morning/evening hours during the week, required weekends and overtime
• Maintenance of regular attendance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of company products sufficient to look up/reference parts, products or components
• Excellent Verbal & Written Communication along with basic math & measurement skills.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer. This includes customer needs and meeting quality standards for services.
• Ability to concentrate and attend to detail amidst busy work environment
• Ability to work as an individual and as a team to meet productions goals.
• Willing to obtain other training if deemed necessary in performance of responsibilities and continuing education.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Work is in a warehouse setting and may performed within a production environment, subject to temperature variations, hazardous chemicals, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.
• Employee must have clear, close vision for reading and computer/scan work. Must be able to safely  squat/bend/climb, lift/carry up to 80lbs, push/pull up to 70 lbs., grasp, talk, hear, standing/walking for prolonged periods. Job may require reaching at or above shoulder level and below waist.
