We're a new cafe in Wilmington. We started with coffee and breakfast and are are now planing to launch our lunch offering, which means our team is growing We aspire to be the consistent (open 7 days/week, year round), convenient (drive-thru), fast (order ahead, pick up), and quality (house-made menu) option in town.
The Role
We're hiring Line Cooks who take pride in their craft, work clean and fast, and care deeply about consistency. You'll be responsible for food prep, assembly, and supporting our café team during busy hours.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has high standards, and takes pride in delivering consistent service to delight guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and assemble menu items following recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen workspace.
- Run opening and closing kitchen procedures.
- Receive and stock inventory; rotate products and track ingredients.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling guidelines.
- Communicate with café staff to ensure smooth order flow and quick service.
- Assist with seasonal menu testing and new product prep.
- Support retail and café operations as needed — all team members are cross-trained to help each other.
About You
- Experience in a kitchen, café, or food production environment preferred (but we'll train enthusiastic beginners).
- You work efficiently, stay calm under pressure, and love being part of a well-run operation.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Willing to work mornings, and some weekends, and holidays.
