As Stitcher Assistant in the Bindery Department, you will be responsible for supporting the Stitcher Operator in the production of booklets.

How You'll Make An Impact

As Stitcher Assistant in the Bindery Department, you will be responsible for supporting the Stitcher Operator in the production of booklets.

- Maintain cleanliness of work area including emptying waste bins.
- Read job ticket to ensure job specifications are followed.
- Assemble shipping containers.
- Gather and pack product, per job specifications.
- Feed the stitcher machine according to the Operator’s instructions.
- Apply labels for packing cartons, as needed.
Basic Requirements
- Possess an ability to work together as a Finishing Team and embrace how your job impacts the whole team. You are the person “behind the scenes” making it happen.
- Can accept feedback and use it to grow in your position.
- Must have basic computer skills or the ability to learn basic skills.
- Able to read and understand job instructions.
- Excellent endurance to stand and move about the work area all day.
- Positive “can do” attitude each day. Gets things done.
- GED or High School equivalent

- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands
- Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
- Lifting/Carrying: Regularly lift and move materials up to 40 lbs.
- Repetitive Motions: Frequent use of hands and arms for machine operation and material handling.
- Visual/Manual Requirements: Ability to read instructions on a computer or job ticket, count materials, and perform quality checks.
- Noise Level: Exposure to moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection provided.
- Safety Gear: Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection may be required.
- Other Factors: Occasional exposure to dust, ink, or chemicals used in production.
- Full-time position; standard schedule is Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-12:30am, with occasional overtime as required.
