As an Installer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful installation of products, such as doors, windows, cabinetry, molding, fireplaces etc. for our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand installation requirements and project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings to determine the scope of work.
- Measure and cut materials with precision to ensure proper fit and alignment.
- Install components using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Secure products in place, ensuring stability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
- Conduct on-site adjustments and modifications as needed to achieve desired results.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to coordinate installation activities and address any concerns or challenges that may arise.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of completed installations, materials used, and any issues encountered during the installation process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Installer or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques, tools, and materials.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Excellent measuring and cutting skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
