Duties

• Safely install, maintain, and remove holiday lighting displays on residential and commercial properties
• Use electrical diagnostics tools to troubleshoot lighting issues and ensure all installations meet safety standards
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately set up complex lighting arrangements
• Operate heavy equipment and mechanical tools necessary for mounting lights on rooftops, trees, or other structures
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, ensuring proper functioning and identifying potential hazards
• Maintain detailed records of installation procedures, technical diagnostics, and repair activities
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Strong electrical diagnostics skills with the ability to troubleshoot wiring and lighting problems effectively
• Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in heavy equipment mechanics for operating lifts, scaffolding, or other machinery
• Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices related to electrical systems and outdoor fixtures
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
• Technical proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters for measuring electrical resistance and diagnosing issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and safety compliance
• Physical stamina and dexterity to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
