Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper or Laundry Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the facility, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents and staff alike. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices and dining rooms
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness through dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors by performing sweeping, scrubbing
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, hospitality, or custodial services is preferred; experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools effectively
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and walking long distances within the facility
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; prior experience in housekeeper management is advantageous but not required
