Position Overview
The Upper School Mathematics Teacher is a full-time teacher and member of the Mathematics Department, reporting to the Division Head and Instructional Leader. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment where value is placed on the skills and passions of the discipline within a larger context of school mission, core values, and educational philosophy. Primary responsibilities include teaching high school mathematics classes (approximately 15 hours weekly), serving as a Student Advisor, and collaborating on school-wide programming.

End: M - Th 3:30 PM, F 2:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Provide differentiation and intervention when necessary and appropriate.
- Monitor progress of each student for mastery of course standards.
- Provide consistent high quality feedback to students that is consistent with articulated course standards.
- Design high quality, student-centered lessons that are well-sequenced in terms of content and developmental appropriateness.
- Establish a safe and welcoming learning environment.
- Engage with students outside of the classroom
- extracurricular activities, clubs and school-wide programming.
- Pursue ongoing professional development.
- Maintain clear and ongoing professional communication with parents and students.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, required, master’s degree preferred.
- Previous teaching experience required.

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
