As a Social Media Intern, you’ll play a key role in bringing that experience to life digitally. You’ll be a creative engine within our marketing team, helping translate our brand into engaging, short-form content. This role is ideal for a digital storyteller who thrives at the intersection of wellness and video, and is excited to grow their skills in content creation, editing, social media management, and marketing.

This internship is designed as a collaborative mentorship. You’ll work closely with our marketing leadership to define and achieve personal growth goals—whether that’s mastering social analytics, sharpening your creative eye, or learning how to build and scale a brand.

Responsibilities

Video Production & Editing

• Serve as the primary creator for TikTok and Instagram Reels. This includes filming on-site at milk honey locations, editing in CapCut, and staying ahead of emerging video trends and transitions.
• Create visually appealing and compelling content to increase brand visibility and engagement in Canva and Capcut.
• Edit 3-5 new posts to go live on all platforms each week.
  
  

Trend Sourcing

• Proactively identify "wellness" and "woo" trends that align with our brand and pitch creative ways to execute them.
  
  

In-Field Capturing

• Travel to local milk honey locations to capture raw b-roll of services, "the architecture of a digital sunset," and the "alchemy of the exhale" moments.
  
  

Reporting Analytics Tracking

• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and analyze performance metrics in Sprout Social.
• Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports.
  
  

Administrative Flow Community Management

• Monitor our Marketing email inbox.
• Support teams to plan, develop, and execute marketing initiatives.
• Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing.
• Assist in coordinating and executing marketing events or campaigns, which may include picking up supplies, arranging logistics, etc.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on various projects, providing administrative support as needed.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools.
• Ability to shoot iPhone content.
• Content writing and short-form video editing skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  
  

Salary Description

$15 per hour
