Military Medical Supplies is a TRICARE provider to active-duty military and their dependents. . We are expanding with a new satellite office in San Antonio, TX s and are seeking a highly motivated Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure seamless coordination in delivering durable medical equipment and services to our clients.
Job Overview:
The Operations Supervisor will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day functions of the satellite office, including overseeing the distribution of DME for military (TRICARE) clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. While prior knowledge of DME operations is preferred, it is not required—we are willing to train the right candidate. Additionally, experience with Brightree is a plus, but training will be provided as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in TRICARE,.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the satellite office, managing the distribution of DME products for TRICARE beneficiaries and workers' compensation cases.
- Supervise and lead a team of employees, including warehouse staff and customer service representatives, ensuring productivity and adherence to company policies.
- Ensure timely fulfillment of orders, accurate inventory management, and compliance with medical regulations.
- Develop and implement operational procedures that optimize efficiency and support business growth.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and government agencies to ensure smooth processing and approval of DME orders.
- Manage vendor relationships and supply chain operations to maintain product availability.
- Ensure compliance with TRICARE, Medicare, Medicaid, and workers' compensation guidelines and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, prepare reports, and provide analysis for forecasting and budgeting.
- Address and resolve customer service issues with a customer-first approach.
- Collaborate with the management team to set goals, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in operations, supply chain management, or a similar role in a healthcare or logistics setting is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in TRICARE or workers' compensation claims.
- Knowledge of DME operations is a plus but not required—we are willing to train.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience in inventory management systems and operational software is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and train on Brightree software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs without accommodations.
- Experience in operations management, healthcare management, or related field (preferred but not required).
