2nd Shift Custodian
Full-Time | 12 Months | Monday–Friday
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

The Milford School District is seeking dependable, hardworking 2nd Shift Custodians to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for our students and staff. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and refinish floors
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Set up and break down rooms for school and community events
- Perform minor building maintenance and routine repairs
- Remove snow, ice, and debris from entrances and walkways as needed
- Monitor building security by locking doors, checking windows, and activating alarm systems
- Assist with deliveries and maintain custodial equipment and supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and district policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical work throughout the shift
