The Milford School District is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Operations Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Business Office, Human Resources Department, and Facilities Department. Responsibilities
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other business documents.
- Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assist with purchasing, invoices, vendor communications, and financial records.
- Support HR functions, including employment paperwork and compliance records.
- Coordinate facilities work orders, maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and facility use requests.
- Maintain records related to safety, compliance, inventory, and district operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and administrative support for special projects and daily office operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of administrative office experience, preferably in bookkeeping, finance, or business operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in Business, Office Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- Experience in a public school or municipal office.
- Experience with financial or accounting software.
