Position:Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location:District Wide
Schedule:2026 – 2027 School Year
Salary:Per Contract
To Start:August 24, 2026 (plus two mentoring days prior to start)
Qualifications:
●Must hold Behavior Analyst certification
●Experience working with children with ASD in the school setting
●Experience working with students with behavior challenges
●Experience, knowledge and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT)
●Knowledge of Mass. Special Education regulations
●Trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention
●Must possess strong communication and consultative skills
●DESE Certification in Mild/Moderate and/or Severe, Preferred
●SEI Endorsement preferred
Duties:
●Provide behavioral consultation services to students with autism, behavioral issues, and/or social/emotional disabilities
●Act as an expert advisor on Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for behavior across the broader school environment
●Conduct functional behavioral analyses and assessments
●Develop highly individualized, evidence-based behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans
●Assist with implementation of behavior intervention plans
●Work directly with students to model effective interventions during behavioral crises or skill-building sessions
●Design robust data collection systems to track student progress and analyze trends to adjust programming
●Design data-based monitoring systems to evaluate student progress and program effectiveness
●Design and deliver training to school staff on ABA principles, classroom management and data-based decision making
●Attend and assist in facilitation of monthly clinic meetings
●Collaborate and communicate with colleagues and administrators regarding student needs
●Perform other duties as assigned by building administration and Director of Special Education
