Job Overview
Join our team as a Mower/Landscaper and bring outdoor spaces to life with your expertise! This energetic role is perfect for an individual who thrive in outdoor environments and take pride in creating beautiful, well-maintained landscapes. You will be responsible for mowing, landscaping, and maintaining various outdoor areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed while operating a range of groundskeeping equipment. Your work will directly contribute to the aesthetic appeal and health of our clients’ properties, making every day rewarding and engaging. Our ultimate goal is to have our team member lead our truck daily, with another team member working. You will ride and train with the owner for a few weeks until comfortable to eventually lead your crew of 1-2 people. Valid Driver's License is a must with a clean driving history. Drug free workplace. Pay dependent on experience. Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work. We will provide transportation during the day from property to property. Once able to manage the truck independently the pay will be increased!
Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas efficiently.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing hardscape features.
- Use hand tools and ground maintenance equipment safely to perform tasks including edging, aerating, and soil preparation.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience is required. Must have experience using a stand up zero turn mower, weed eater, edger, blower, etc.
- Must be able to withstand the Florida heat. Water is provided daily. Gatorade/ Electrolyte drinks provided.
- Experience operating power tools and grounds maintenance machinery ensures efficiency and safety on the job site.
