Milestones Childcare & Preschool is looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable EEC Certified Preschool Teacher to join our Amesbury team!
We are looking for an educator who genuinely loves working with young children and wants to be part of a positive, supportive, and fun school community. What You'll Do
As a Preschool Teacher, you will work alongside your classroom team to:
- Create a warm, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn
- Plan and implement fun, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive classroom management
- Observe and document children's development and complete progress reports and assessments
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
- Communicate professionally with parents about their child's day, development, and classroom experiences
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers, assistants, and the Milestones leadership team
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming classroom
- Follow all Massachusetts EEC regulations and Milestones policies and procedures
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, trainings, and school events
- Bring a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to help your team when needed
What We're Looking For
- Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher Certification – Required
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, patient, energetic, and professional
- Ability to take initiative while also working collaboratively with a classroom team
- A genuine passion for working with young children
